WHO WE ARE
Clubhouse South Carolina is a member Coalition of Clubhouse International, consisting of Clubhouse staff, Clubhouse members and Start-up Clubhouse leaders, who are dedicated to the promotion, development, strengthening and sustainability of Accredited Clubhouses throughout South Carolina. Clubhouse International is the only global mental health nonprofit that expands and enhances recovery opportunities for people living with mental illness by integrating the Clubhouse Model of psychosocial rehabilitation into community-based health systems worldwide. The Clubhouse Model is an evidence- based method that complements available psychiatric recovery from mental illness, and addresses social and economic factors as part of a comprehensive approach toward cost-effective and sustainable solutions for mental illness. To assist individuals in their recovery from mental illness by fostering, building, and supporting strong Clubhouse Model programs and working to create a statewide environment that promotes fidelity to quality assurance via Clubhouse International Accreditation.

OUR IMPACT
A Clubhouse is a community-based program dedicated to instill hope and empower those living with mental illness, known as Clubhouse Members. Based on the Clubhouse Model, each Clubhouse offers a collaborative, restorative environment where its members can recover by gaining access to opportunities to meet individual needs for socialization, employment, housing, education, skill development, access to clinical care, and improved wellness.
